Aircel to launch its services in Haryana, Punjab & Rajasthan by April

The year 2010 is proving lucky for Nokia Siemens. Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) bagged a big deal of $700 million from country’s largest operator Bharti Airtel a few days back and now it has won a $300-million deal from mobile operator Aircel.

The four year contract would see furnish GSM radio, core and microwave network and services in three states.

Aircel is expected to roll out services in Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan in April.

The company will also introduce to the three cities its mobile soft switch core network, NetAct network management system and NetViewer element manager.
A GSM network and similar services were supplied by Nokia Siemens Networks to Aircel in many cities like Mumbai, Kolkata and Delhi.
