Uninor's GPRS plan unveiled

Uninor the Youngest GSM Mobile service operator today reportedly unveil its Mobile Internet Services on GPRS for its prepaid subscribers across UP East, UP West, Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh where its GSM Mobile Service is offered today.

The Uninor has offered two data services pack-Data 9 worth Rs 9 valid for 3 days, offering free browsing up to 60 MB and Data 90 priced for a price of Rs 90 valid for 30 days with 3GB of free browsing.


However, for both GPRS plans, usage crossing free data will be charged at 10p per 10kb. Both plans also enable its users to have a free access to social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter and Linked-In.

It announced to release its promotional trial offer for Unlimited FREE Internet browsing till May 6. The GPRS/Data services can be availed via a base plan with tariff of 10p per 10kb.

For the service, customers will not have to manually search and download GPRS settings; instead it is automatically loaded for most handsets, by Uninor's Automatic Device Setting Server, as soon as a Uninor SIM is inserted into the phone.

Myuninor' WAP portal helps save user's time and money both with 6 icons that allow the users to navigate easily and loads the content easily.
