Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Ltd today said it has experienced a consolidated net loss of Rs 318 crore for the year ended March 31, 2010.
The company had reported a net loss of Rs 169 crore for the year ended March 2008-09, Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Ltd said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
"The Telecommunication Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) amended the Interconnection Usage Charges. The interconnect income accounted and interconnect cost accounted, therefore, are not strictly comparable with the previous year," the company said.
Total income stood at Rs 2,309 crore for the year ended March 31, in comparison to a total income of Rs 2,058 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, the filing added.
