Nissan Micra to cost between 3.3 lac -3.8 Lacs in India

Nissan Micra is a new car from Nissan India in the small car segment. Nissan Micra is a premium hatchback model with attractive features and specifications. The Nissan Micra car is expected to face competition with the small car segment majors like Maruti Alto, Hyundai Santro, Ford Figo, Wagon R and Chevy Beat.

The Nissan Micra car will be available to Indian customers by May 2010. The company aims to price Nissan Micra in India in the range of Rs. 3.8 lac to Rs. 5 lac.

The Indian small car segment will have Nissan Micra in both petrol and diesel options. The petrol option has 1200 and 1300CC variants and the diesel option has 1600 CC variant. The car will be available in 11 amazing hues like Roma Red, New York Blue,Madrid Ebony, Paris Blue, London Rose, Vienna Garnet, Geneva White, Tokyo Silver, Rio Latte and Monaco Platinum.

Nissan Micra, the fourth generation car by Nissan, is the high tech ultra modern car built on V platform and is designed and tested in Japan. The Nissan Micra car boasts of a 5 speed manual transmission or CVT and has highly fuel efficient engines. The car is powered by an 80 HP 1.2 liter engine.

Another specification that the Nissan Micra offers is a supercharged 1.2 direct-injection 3 cylinder engine that is capable of producing 98 HP. A unique parking sensor is also attached to the Micra which is a welcome feature that helps the user park the car on tight roads and is ideal for Indian roads.

The wheelbase of the Nissan Micra car is lengthened by 2 cm to provide more space to the interior and to give a greater cornering stability. The car has great looks and definitely would win the hearts of all the auto lovers. Nissan Micra has consistently won praises and gained the reputation as an accessible compact and stylish car. The face of the car looks sophisticated with its unique features such as its double-layer integrated grille and its much praised classic shape.

Nissan Motors, the Japanese auto giant has unleashed its ultra modern car, the Micra at the Geneva Motor show 2010. Micra will be built in four different locations that include Thailand, India and may be in China, Brazil or Mexico. Micra will be built in Nissan’s Chennai plant in India.
