Tata Motors has launched its Indigo e-CS, claimed to be the most fuel efficient sedan in India. The sedan comes with a fuel efficiency of 23.03 kmpl, which has been certified with ARAI. It has a new 1.4 liter diesel engine.
It will also be provided with 1.2-litre petrol engine. Both the engine categories are BSIV and suitable enough to run the car freely in all the bigger cities with new environment regulations.
The luxury sedan comes equipped with a new grille, body colored bumpers, chrome inserts on rub rails and indicators on the rear view mirrors. The interiors comprise all the components of Indigo XL along with centre console and the steering wheel.
Other striking features of the car will include Bluetooth enabled music system and electric controls for the rear view mirrors.
The 1.4 liter diesel engine has been priced at Rs 5.13 lakh while the 1.2-litre will be available at Rs 4.07 lakh. Tata will provide the car with an unlimited running capability for 18 months.
According to the statement released by the Company, the new Sedan has been launched as a descendant of Indigo CS.
The Automotive Research Association of India has affirmed that the car has the capability to deliver a mileage of 23.03 kilometers per liter.
