Sun Direct will show the Indian Premier League (IPL) matches in high-definition (HD) on Max.
As per the deal, Max will provide the HD feed of the IPL matches without any advertisements. With dolby digital for the audio and sound with 16:9 ratio, Sun Direct claims that the HD telecast will deliver in-stadia like experience to viewers.
The HD telecast will be available on Sun Direct HD platform.

At present, Sun Direct offers National Geographic HD Channel, Sun TV HD Service, Colors HD Service, Discovery World HD and Tamil / Telugu movie service.
